Calls & Opportunities

Tremendous Productions, helmed by film artist Naomi Jaye, creates film experiences for the world stage that provoke emotion through unconventional storytelling and striking visual execution.

We periodically open calls for collaborators, volunteers, and creative talent who want to be part of that work. Below you'll find our current opportunities.

Current Opportunities

SLOW during fall 2026 and takes place in Toronto, On.
It's an intimate, public-facing experience, and the people who bring it to life matter enormously.

Volunteer Coordinator

We're looking for one person, ideally a student in arts administration, event management, or a related field, to coordinate volunteers before and during the installation run.

What you'll do:

  • Recruit and onboard installation volunteers

  • Manage scheduling across 4 installation days

  • Support coordination of related programming, including artist talks and dance workshops with Dancing with Parkinson's

  • Be on-site during the run to keep things running smoothly

This is a hands-on, portfolio-building opportunity at the intersection of arts, community, and one of the world's most celebrated film festivals.

Installation Volunteers | “Front of House”

We're looking for warm, curious people to welcome visitors and guide them through the SLOW experience during our 4-day installation run.

What to expect:

  • 3-hour shifts (morning afternoon, and evening) across multiple days

  • 2 volunteers per shift

  • Your role: welcoming visitors, briefly sharing about the work, and helping people engage with the installation

  • Training provided, no prior experience necessary

Please note: this role involves standing, walking, and demonstrating the installation (which includes holding a pole handle). Chairs will be available on-site as needed.

We're looking for a graphic designer to collaborate on the full visual identity of SLOW, from the ground up.

Scope includes:

  • Brand direction and visual identity (design system), including guidance for social assets

  • Logo (title and/or monogram)

  • Didactics for print/vinyl, interpretive text panels, introduction panel, artist statement

  • Environmental signage and participant-facing materials

  • Brand guidelines for digital/print marketing and social, including master templates, typography, colour palette, and files in InDesign/Illustrator and Canva

Print assets will likely include posters, banner-sized didactics, laminated instruction sheets, and possible installation signage.

Note this is our wishlist; we're genuinely open to working within whatever capacity a designer can offer. We'd rather find the right collaborative fit than overwhelm someone with scope.

This is an unpaid opportunity. Credit and portfolio use rights included.

Graphic Designer [modest honorarium]

Your Questions, Answered

  • These are unpaid volunteer positions. Volunteers will receive full credit for their work and the experience of being part of a public art installation at one of the world's most celebrated film festivals.

  • Not for Front of House roles, we provide training and just ask that you bring warmth, curiosity, and reliability.

The Volunteer Coordinator role would benefit from some background in arts administration or event coordination, but enthusiasm and strong organizational skills go a long way.

  • Absolutely, we'd love that. Once you sign up, we'll be in touch to confirm the schedule and discuss availability.

  • Not at all. The scope listed is our wishlist, and we're very open to working within whatever a designer can realistically offer. If part of the project speaks to you more than others, let's talk, we'd rather find the right fit than the full list.
